2 Kings 17:34-39 GNB
They still carry on their old customs to this day. They do not worship the LORD (יהוה) nor do they obey the laws and commands which he gave to the descendants of Jacob, whom he named Israel. (35) The LORD (יהוה) had made a covenant with them and had ordered them: "Do not worship other gods; do not bow down to them or serve them or offer sacrifices to them. (36) You shall obey me, the LORD (יהוה), who brought you out of Egypt with great power and strength; you are to bow down to me and offer sacrifices to me. (37) You shall always obey the laws and commands that I wrote for you. You shall not obey other gods, (38) and you shall not forget the covenant I made with you. (39) You shall obey me, the LORD (יהוה) your God, and I will rescue you from your enemies."
2 Kings 17:34-39 NWT
34 Down to this day they are doing according to their former religions. There were none fearing Jehovah (יהוה) and none doing according to his statutes and his judicial decisions and the law and the commandment that Jehovah (יהוה) had commanded the sons of Jacob, whose name he made Israel; 35 when Jehovah (יהוה) concluded a covenant with them and commanded them, saying: "You must not fear other gods, and you must not bow down to them nor serve them nor sacrifice to them. 36 But Jehovah (יהוה), who brought you up out of the land of Egypt with great power and a stretched-out arm, is the One whom you should fear, and to him you should bow down, and to him you should sacrifice. 37 And the regulations and the judicial decisions and the law and the commandment that he wrote for you, you should take care to do always; and you must not fear other gods. 38 And the covenant that I have concluded with you, you must not forget; and you must not fear other gods. 39 But it is Jehovah (יהוה) your God that you should fear, as he is the one that will deliver you out of the hand of all your enemies."
2 Kings 17:34-39 CEV Everyone followed their old customs. None of them worshiped only the LORD (יהוה), and they refused to obey the laws and commands that the LORD (יהוה) had given to the descendants of Jacob, the man he named Israel. (35) At the time when the LORD (יהוה) had made his solemn agreement with the people of Israel, he told them: Do not worship any other gods! Do not bow down to them or offer them a sacrifice. (36) Worship only me! I am the one who rescued you from Egypt with my mighty power. Bow down to me and offer sacrifices. (37) Never worship any other god, always obey my laws and teachings, (38) and remember the solemn agreement between us. I will say it again: Do not worship any god (39) except me. I am the LORD (יהוה) your God, and I will rescue you from all your enemies.
2 Kings 17:34-39 LITV
(34) To this day they do according to the former custom; they do not fear Jehovah (יהוה), and do not do according to their statutes, and according to their ordinances, and according to the Law, and according to the commandment that Jehovah (יהוה) commanded the sons of Jacob, on whom He set His name, Israel.
(35) And Jehovah (יהוה) made a covenant with them, and commanded them, saying, You shall not fear other gods, nor bow yourselves to them, nor serve them, nor sacrifice to them;
(36) but Jehovah (יהוה) who brought you up out of the land of Egypt with great power, and with a stretched out arm, you shall fear Him, and you shall bow yourselves to Him, and you shall sacrifice to Him;
(37) and the statutes, and the judgments, and the Law, and the commandments that He wrote for you, you shall observe to do forever, and you shall not fear other gods;
(38) and the covenant that I have made with you, you shall not forget, and you shall not fear other gods;
(39) but you shall fear Jehovah (יהוה) your God, and He shall deliver you out of the hand of all your enemies.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
The Translations we quote are:
