Ephesians 1:17-21 GNB
(17) and ask the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, to give you the Spirit, who will make you wise and reveal God to you, so that you will know him. (18) I ask that your minds may be opened to see his light, so that you will know what is the hope to which he has called you, how rich are the wonderful blessings he promises his people, (19) and how very great is his power at work in us who believe. This power working in us is the same as the mighty strength (20) which he used when he raised Christ from death and seated him at his right side in the heavenly world. (21) Christ rules there above all heavenly rulers, authorities, powers, and lords; he has a title superior to all titles of authority in this world and in the next.

Ephesians 1:17-21 CEV
(17) I ask the glorious Father and God of our Lord Jesus Christ to give you his Spirit. The Spirit will make you wise and let you understand what it means to know God. (18) My prayer is that light will flood your hearts and that you will understand the hope that was given to you when God chose you. Then you will discover the glorious blessings that will be yours together with all of God's people. (19) I want you to know about the great and mighty power that God has for us followers. It is the same wonderful power he used (20) when he raised Christ from death and let him sit at his right side in heaven. (21) There Christ rules over all forces, authorities, powers, and rulers. He rules over all beings in this world and will rule in the future world as well.

Ephesians 1:17-21 NWT
17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the accurate knowledge of him; 18 the eyes of your heart having been enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he called you, what the glorious riches are which he holds as an inheritance for the holy ones, 19 and what the surpassing greatness of his power is toward us believers. It is according to the operation of the mightiness of his strength, 20 with which he has operated in the case of the Christ when he raised him up from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above every government and authority and power and lordship and every name named, not only in this system of things, but also in that to come.

Ephesians 1:17-21 ALT
(17) so that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory [or, splendor], shall give to you* a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the full [or, true] knowledge of Him, (18) the eyes of your* heart having been enlightened, for you* to know what is the hope [or, confident expectation] of His calling and what [are] the riches [or, abundance] of the glory [or, splendor] of His inheritance in the holy ones (19) and what [is] the surpassing greatness of His power to us, the ones believing, according to the supernatural working of the might of His strength, (20) which He supernaturally worked in Christ, having raised Him from the dead and set [Him] at His right hand in the heavenlies [or, heavenly [realms]], (21) far above all rule and authority and power and lordship [or, dominion] and every name having been named, not only in this age, _but_ also in the one coming.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
The Translations we quote are:
