Hebrews 4:12 CEV
(12) What God has said isn't only alive and active! [Rev 19:13 of 11-13] It is sharper than any double-edged sword. His word can cut through our spirits and souls and through our joints and marrow, until it discovers the desires and thoughts of our hearts. [John 12:47-48]

Hebrews 4:12 Darby
(12) For the word of God is living and operative, [Rev 19:13 of 11-13] and sharper than any two-edged sword, and penetrating to the division of soul and spirit, both of joints and marrow, and a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. [John 12:47-48]

Hebrews 4:12 GW
God's word is living and active. [Rev 19:13 of 11-13] It is sharper than any two-edged sword and cuts as deep as the place where soul and spirit meet, the place where joints and marrow meet. God's word judges a person's thoughts and intentions. [John 12:47-48]

Hebrews 4:12 GNB
(12) The word of God is alive and active, [Rev 19:13 of 11-13] sharper than any double-edged sword. It cuts all the way through, to where soul and spirit meet, to where joints and marrow come together. It judges the desires and thoughts of the heart. [John 12:47-48]

Hebrews 4:12 BBE
(12) For the word of God is living and full of power, [Rev 19:13 of 11-13] and is sharper than any two-edged sword, cutting through and making a division even of the soul and the spirit, the bones and the muscles, and quick to see the thoughts and purposes of the heart. [John 12:47-48]

Hebrews 4:12 DRB
(12) For the word of God is living and effectual [Rev 19:13 of 11-13] and more piercing than any two edged sword; and reaching unto the division of the soul and the spirit, of the joints also and the marrow: and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. [John 12:47-48]

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
The Translations we quote are:

ALT - Analytical Literal Translation

ASV - American Standard Version (by the American revision committee in 1897).

Darby - 1889 Darby Bible

DRB - 1899 Douay-Rheims Bible

BBE - 1965 Bible in Basic English

LITV - Literal Translation of the Holy Bible

KJV - King James Version

MKJV - Modern King James Version

NWT - New World Translation

Webster - 1833 Webster Bible

RV - Revised Version
