Isaiah 10:22-25 MWT ...There were as many people of Israel as grains of sand along the seashore, but only a few will survive to come back to Israel's mighty God. Destruction is decreed, overflowing with righteousness. (Zep 1:14-2:4; Mal 3:16-4:3) (23) יהוה has promised that everyone on this earth will be punished. (24) Now יהוה All-Powerful says to his people in Jerusalem: The Assyrians will beat you with sticks and abuse you, just as the Egyptians did. But don't be afraid of them. (25) Soon I will stop being angry with you, and I will punish them all for their crimes.
Israel grew from the faithful among the sons and daughters of Abraham through Isaac and then Jacob [Israel], to become or be transformed into the faithful among the sons and daughters of Abraham through his descendant Christ. (Mat 1:1) The faithful among ancient Israel, along with faithful Gentiles, thus became the New Israel of God. (Gal 3:19-29) They are all citizens of New Jerusalem, or New Zion, now being established in the earth. Rejoice! The Kingdom of Jesus Christ now rules. (Rev 21:1-4)

(24) Therefore thus saith the Lord, Jehovah of hosts: O my people that dwellest in Zion, (Rev 21:1-4; Gal 3:19-29) be not afraid of the Assyrian; he shall smite thee with a rod, and shall lift up his staff against thee, after the manner of Egypt: (25) for yet a very little while, and the indignation shall be accomplished, and mine anger, in their destruction.
