••• You should recognize and know "and use" God's Hebrew Name! It is יהוה and sounds like
to English speakers... God Himself wrote with his own finger on stone tablets He then gave to Moses. (Exo 31:18) Using the Diving Name of our Creator is a uniting force in this divided world! •••
Isaiah 45:1-7 MWT ...So יהוה said to Cyrus, his chosen one: I have taken hold of your right hand to help you capture nations and remove kings from power. City gates will open for you; not one will stay closed. (2) As I lead you, I will level mountains and break the iron bars on bronze gates of cities. (3) I will give you treasures hidden in dark and secret places. Then you will know that I, יהוה, the God of Israel have called you by name. (4) Cyrus, you don't even know me! But I have called you by name and highly honored you because of Israel, my chosen servant. (5) Only I am יהוה! There are no other gods. I have made you strong, though you don't know me. (6) Now everyone from east to west will learn that I am יהוה. No other gods are real. (7) I create light and darkness, happiness and sorrow. I, יהוה, do all of this.
Isaiah 45:1-7 GNB ...The LORD (יהוה) has chosen Cyrus to be king. He has appointed him to conquer nations; he sends him to strip kings of their power; the LORD (יהוה) will open the gates of cities for him. To Cyrus the LORD (יהוה) says, (2) "I myself will prepare your way, leveling mountains and hills. I will break down bronze gates and smash their iron bars. (3) I will give you treasures from dark, secret places; then you will know that I am the LORD (יהוה) and that the God of Israel has called you by name. (4) I appoint you to help my servant Israel, the people that I have chosen. I have given you great honor, although you do not know me. (5) "I am the LORD (יהוה); there is no other god. I will give you the strength you need, although you do not know me. (6) I do this so that everyone from one end of the world to the other may know that I am the LORD (יהוה) and that there is no other god. (7) I create both light and darkness; I bring both blessing and disaster. I, the LORD (יהוה), do all these things.
Isaiah 45:1-7 LITV ...So says Jehovah (יהוה) to His anointed, to Cyrus, whom I have seized by his right hand, to subdue nations before him. Yea, I will open the loins of kings, to open the two leaved doors before him, and the gates shall not be shut. (2) I will go before you and make hills level; I will tear apart the bronze doors, and cut the iron bars in two. (3) And I will give you the treasures of darkness, even treasures in secret places, that you may know that I am Jehovah (יהוה), who calls you by your name, the God of Israel. (4) For My servant Jacob's sake, and for Israel My elect, I entitle you. I name you, but you do not know Me. (5) I am Jehovah (יהוה), and there is none else; there is no God except Me. I will clothe you, though you do not know Me, (6) that they may know from the rising of the sun, and to its going down, that there is none besides Me; I am Jehovah (יהוה), and there is none else; (7) forming light, and creating darkness; making peace, and creating evil. I, Jehovah (יהוה), do all these things.
Isaiah 45:1-7 ESV ...Thus says the LORD (יהוה) to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have grasped, to subdue nations before him and to loose the belts of kings, to open doors before him that gates may not be closed: (2) "I will go before you and level the exalted places, I will break in pieces the doors of bronze and cut through the bars of iron, (3) I will give you the treasures of darkness and the hoards in secret places, that you may know that it is I, the LORD (יהוה), the God of Israel, who call you by your name. (4) For the sake of my servant Jacob, and Israel my chosen, I call you by your name, I name you, though you do not know me. (5) I am the LORD (יהוה), and there is no other, besides me there is no God; I equip you, though you do not know me, (6) that people may know, from the rising of the sun and from the west, that there is none besides me; I am the LORD (יהוה), and there is no other. (7) I form light and create darkness, I make well-being and create calamity, I am the LORD (יהוה), who does all these things.

I will break in pieces the bronze gates, and cut the iron bars in two. (3) And I will give you the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that I am Jehovah (יהוה), who calls you by your name, the God of Israel. (4) For Jacob My servant's sake, and Israel My elect, I have even entitled you. I have named you, though you have not known me. (5) I am Jehovah (יהוה), and there is none else, no God besides Me; I clothed you, though you have not known Me; (6) that they may know from the rising of the sun, and to the sunset, that there is none besides Me. I am Jehovah (יהוה), and there is none else; (7) forming the light and creating darkness; making peace and creating evil. I Jehovah (יהוה) do all these things.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals. The Translations we quote are:
