••• You should recognize and know "and use" God's Hebrew Name! It is יהוה and sounds like
to English speakers... God Himself wrote with his own finger on stone tablets He then gave to Moses. (Exo 31:18) Using the Diving Name of our Creator is a uniting force in this divided world! •••
Joel 2:26-32 MWT . . .You will have plenty to eat, and you will be satisfied. You will praise the name of יהוה your God, who has performed miracles for you. My people will never be ashamed again. (27) You will know that I am in Israel. (Gal 3:26-29) I am יהוה your God, and there is no other. My people will never be ashamed again. (28) "After this, I will pour my Spirit on everyone. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your old men will dream dreams. Your young men will see visions. (29) In those days I will pour my Spirit on servants, on both men and women. (30) I will work miracles in the sky and on the earth: blood, fire, and clouds of smoke. (31) The sun will become dark, and the moon will become as red as blood before the terrifying day of יהוה comes." (32) Then whoever calls on the name of יהוה will be saved. Those who escape will be on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem. (Rev 21:1-4) Among the survivors will be those whom יהוה calls; as יהוה has promised.
Joel 2:26-32 GNB . . .Now you will have plenty to eat, and be satisfied. You will praise the LORD (יהוה) your God, who has done wonderful things for you. My people will never be despised again. (27) Then, Israel, you will know that I am among you (Gal 3:26-29) and that I, the LORD (יהוה), am your God and there is no other. My people will never be despised again. (28) "Afterward I will pour out my Spirit on everyone: your sons and daughters will proclaim my message; your old people will have dreams, and your young people will see visions. (29) At that time I will pour out my Spirit even on servants, both men and women. (30) "I will give warnings of that day in the sky and on the earth; there will be bloodshed, fire, and clouds of smoke. (31) The sun will be darkened, and the moon will turn red as blood before the great and terrible day of the LORD (יהוה) comes. (32) But all who ask the LORD (יהוה) for help will be saved. As the LORD (יהוה) has said, 'Some in Jerusalem will escape; (Rev 21:1-4) those whom I choose will survive.' "
Joel 2:26-31 LITV . . .And you shall eat fully and be satisfied; and you shall praise the name of Jehovah (יהוה) your God, who has dealt wondrously with you. And My people shall not be ashamed forever. (27) And you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, (Gal 3:26-29) and that I am Jehovah (יהוה) your God, and there is no other. And My people shall not be ashamed forever. (28) And it shall be afterward, I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh. And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions. (29) And also I will pour out My Spirit on the slaves and on the slave-girls in those days. (30) And I will give signs in the heavens and in the earth: blood, and fire, and columns of smoke. (31) The sun shall be turned to darkness and the moon to blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of Jehovah (יהוה). (32) For it shall be, all who shall call on the name of Jehovah (יהוה) shall be saved. For salvation shall be in Mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, (Rev 21:1-4) as Jehovah (יהוה) has said, and among the survivors whom Jehovah (יהוה) shall call.
Joel 2:26-32 CEV . . .My people, you will eat until you are satisfied. Then you will praise me for the wonderful things I have done. Never again will you be put to shame. (27) Israel, you will know that I stand at your side. (Gal 3:26-29) I am the LORD (יהוה) your God-- there are no other gods. Never again will you be put to shame. (28) Later, I will give my Spirit to everyone. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your old men will have dreams, and your young men will see visions. (29) In those days I will even give my Spirit to my servants, both men and women. (30) I will work wonders in the sky above and on the earth below. There will be blood and fire and clouds of smoke. (31) The sun will turn dark, and the moon will be as red as blood before that great and terrible day when I appear. (32) Then the LORD (יהוה) will save everyone who faithfully worships him. He has promised there will be survivors on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem, (Rev 21:1-4) and among them will be his chosen ones.
Joel 2:26-32 Darby . . .And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of Jehovah (יהוה) your God, who hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed. (27) And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, (Gal 3:26-29) and that I, Jehovah (יהוה), am your God, and there is none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.
(28) And it shall come to pass afterwards that I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions. (29) Yea, even upon the bondmen and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my Spirit. (30) And I will shew wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. (31) The sun shall be changed to darkness, and the moon to blood, before the great and terrible day of Jehovah (יהוה) come. (32) And it shall be that whosoever shall call upon the name of Jehovah (יהוה) shall be saved: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, (Rev 21:1-4) as Jehovah (יהוה) hath said, and for the residue whom Jehovah (יהוה) shall call.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals. The Translations we quote are:
