••• You should recognize and know "and use" God's Hebrew Name! It is יהוה and sounds like
to English speakers... God Himself wrote with his own finger on stone tablets He then gave to Moses. (Exo 31:18) Using the Diving Name of our Creator is a uniting force in this divided world! •••
Psalms 37:1-11 NWT . . .By David. Do not be concerned with evil people. Do not envy those who prosper by doing wicked things. (2) They will quickly die like new grass that withers without water. (3) Trust יהוה and do good things. Live in the land, and practice being faithful. (4) Be happy in יהוה and he will give you the desires of your heart. (5) Entrust your ways to יהוה. Trust him, and he will act in your behalf. (6) He will make your righteousness shine as light itself, your just cause like the noonday sun. (7) Surrender yourself to יהוה and wait patiently for him. Do not be concerned with an evildoer who succeeds in his way when he carries out his schemes. (8) Let go of anger, and leave rage behind. Do not fret yourself. It only leads to evil. (9) Evildoers will be cut off from their inheritance, but those who wait with hope for יהוה will inherit the earth. (10) In a little while a wicked person will vanish. Then you can carefully examine where he was, but there will be no trace of him. (11) Oppressed righteous people will inherit the land and will enjoy unlimited peace.
Psalms 37:1-11 ESV Of David. Fret not yourself because of evildoers; be not envious of wrongdoers! (2) For they will soon fade like the grass and wither like the green herb. (3) Trust in the LORD (יהוה), and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness. (4) Delight yourself in the LORD (יהוה), and he will give you the desires of your heart. (5) Commit your way to the LORD (יהוה); trust in him, and he will act. (6) He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday. (7) Be still before the LORD (יהוה) and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices! (8) Refrain from anger, and forsake wrath! Fret not yourself; it tends only to evil. (9) For the evildoers shall be cut off, but those who wait for the LORD (יהוה) shall inherit the land. (10) In just a little while, the wicked will be no more; though you look carefully at his place, he will not be there. (11) But the meek shall inherit the land and delight themselves in abundant peace.
Psalms 37:1-11 GNB Don't be worried on account of the wicked; don't be jealous of those who do wrong. (2) They will soon disappear like grass that dries up; they will die like plants that wither. (3) Trust in the LORD (יהוה) and do good; live in the land and be safe. (4) Seek your happiness in the LORD (יהוה), and he will give you your heart's desire. (5) Give yourself to the LORD (יהוה); trust in him, and he will help you; (6) he will make your righteousness shine like the noonday sun. (7) Be patient and wait for the LORD (יהוה) to act; don't be worried about those who prosper or those who succeed in their evil plans. (8) Don't give in to worry or anger; it only leads to trouble. (9) Those who trust in the LORD (יהוה) will possess the land, but the wicked will be driven out. (10) Soon the wicked will disappear; you may look for them, but you won't find them; (11) but the humble will possess the land and enjoy prosperity and peace.
Psalms 37:1-11 CEV (By David.) Don't be annoyed by anyone who does wrong, and don't envy them. (2) They will soon disappear like grass without rain. (3) Trust the LORD (יהוה) and live right! The land will be yours, and you will be safe. (4) Do what the LORD (יהוה) wants, and he will give you your heart's desire. (5) Let the LORD (יהוה) lead you and trust him to help. (6) Then it will be as clear as the noonday sun that you were right. (7) Be patient and trust the LORD (יהוה). Don't let it bother you when all goes well for those who do sinful things. (8) Don't be angry or furious. Anger can lead to sin. (9) All sinners will disappear, but if you trust the LORD (יהוה), the land will be yours. (10) Sinners will soon disappear, never to be found, (11) but the [righteous] poor will take the land and enjoy a big harvest.
Psalm 37:1-11 NWT . . .Do not show yourself heated up because of the evildoers. Do not be envious of those doing unrighteousness. 2 For like grass they will speedily wither, And like green new grass they will fade away. ? [Behth] 3 Trust in Jehovah (יהוה) and do good; Reside in the earth, and deal with faithfulness. 4 Also take exquisite delight in Jehovah (יהוה), And he will give you the requests of your heart. ? [Gi´mel] 5 Roll upon Jehovah (יהוה) your way, And rely upon him, and he himself will act. 6 And he will certainly bring forth your righteousness as the light itself, And your justice as the midday. ? [Da´leth] 7 Keep silent before Jehovah (יהוה) And wait longingly for him. Do not show yourself heated up at anyone making his way successful, At the man carrying out [his] ideas. ? [He´] 8 Let anger alone and leave rage; Do not show yourself heated up only to do evil. 9 For evildoers themselves will be cut off, But those hoping in Jehovah (יהוה) are the ones that will possess the earth. ? [Waw] 10 And just a little while longer, and the wicked one will be no more; And you will certainly give attention to his place, and he will not be. 11 But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth, And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals. The Translations we quote are:
