Revelation 19:17-21 & 16:14-16 CEV . . .I then saw an angel standing on the sun, and he shouted to all the birds flying in the sky, "Come and join in God's great feast! (18) You can eat the flesh of kings, rulers, leaders, horses, riders, free people, slaves, important people, and everyone else." (19) I also saw the beast and all kings of the earth come together. They fought against the rider on the white horse and against his army. (20) But the beast was captured and so was the false prophet. This is the same prophet who had worked miracles for the beast, (Exo 7:8-12) so that he could fool everyone who had the mark of the beast and worshiped the idol. The beast and the false prophet were thrown alive into a lake of burning sulfur. (21) But the rest of their army was killed by the sword that came from the mouth of the rider on the horse. Then birds stuffed themselves on the dead bodies.
Revelation 16:14-16 CEV . . .These evil spirits had the power to work miracles. (Exo 7:8-12) They went to every king on earth, to bring them together for a war against God All-Powerful. But that will be the day of God's great victory. (Psa 118:23-24) (15) Remember that Christ says, "When I come, it will surprise you like a thief! But God will bless you, if you are awake and ready. Then you won't have to walk around naked (Mat 22:11-14) and be ashamed." (16) Those armies came together in a place that in Hebrew is called Armagedon.
Revelation 19:17-21 & 16:14-16 GNB . . .Then I saw an angel standing on the sun. He shouted in a loud voice to all the birds flying in midair: "Come and gather together for God's great feast! (18) Come and eat the flesh of kings, generals, and soldiers, the flesh of horses and their riders, the flesh of all people, slave and free, great and small!" (19) Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered to fight against the one who was riding the horse and against his army. (20) The beast was taken prisoner, together with the false prophet who had performed miracles (Exo 7:8-12) in his presence. (It was by those miracles that he had deceived those who had the mark of the beast and those who had worshiped the image of the beast.) The beast and the false prophet were both thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur. (21) Their armies were killed by the sword that comes out of the mouth of the one who was riding the horse; and all the birds ate all they could of their flesh.
Revelation 16:14-16 GNB . . .They are the spirits of demons that perform miracles. (Exo 7:8-12) These three spirits go out to all the kings of the world, to bring them together for the battle on the great Day of Almighty God. (Psa 118:23-24) (15) "Listen! I am coming like a thief ! Happy is he who stays awake and guards his clothes, so that he will not walk around naked (Mat 22:11-14) and be ashamed in public!" (16) Then the spirits brought the kings together in the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon.
Revelation 19:17-21 & 16:14-16 ESV . . .Then I saw an angel standing in the sun, and with a loud voice he called to all the birds that fly directly overhead, "Come, gather for the great supper of God, (18) to eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and their riders, and the flesh of all men, both free and slave, both small and great." (19) And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth with their armies gathered to make war against him who was sitting on the horse and against his army. (20) And the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who in its presence had done the signs (Exo 7:8-12) by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped its image. These two were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur. (21) And the rest were slain by the sword that came from the mouth of him who was sitting on the horse, and all the birds were gorged with their flesh.
Revelation 16:14-16 ESV . . .For they are demonic spirits, performing signs, (Exo 7:8-12) who go abroad to the kings of the whole world, to assemble them for battle on the great day of God the Almighty. (Psa 118:23-24) (15) ("Behold, I am coming like a thief! Blessed is the one who stays awake, keeping his garments on, that he may not go about naked (Mat 22:11-14) and be seen exposed!") (16) And they assembled them at the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon.
Revelation 19:17-21 & 16:14-16 MKJV . . .And I saw one angel standing in the sun. And he cried with a great voice, saying to all the birds that fly in mid-heaven, Come and gather together to the supper of the great God, (18) so that you may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of commanders, and the flesh of strong ones, and the flesh of horses, and those sitting on them, and the flesh of all, both free and slave, both small and great. (19) And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth and their armies, being gathered to make war against Him who sat on the horse, and against His army. (20) And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet doing signs (Exo 7:8-12) before it, (by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast), and those who had worshiped his image. The two were thrown alive into the Lake of Fire burning with brimstone. (21) And the rest were slain by the sword of Him who sat on the horse, it proceeding out of His mouth. And all the birds were filled from their flesh.
Revelation 16:14-16 MKJV . . .For they are spirits of demons, working miracles, (Exo 7:8-12) which go forth to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that day, the great day of God Almighty. (Psa 118:23-24) (15) Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is the one who watches and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked (Mat 22:11-14) and they see his shame. (16) And he gathered them into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.
Revelation 19:17-21 NWT . . .I saw also an angel standing in the sun, and he cried out with a loud voice and said to all the birds that fly in midheaven: “Come here, be gathered together to the great evening meal of God, 18 that YOU may eat the fleshy parts of kings and the fleshy parts of military commanders and the fleshy parts of strong men and the fleshy parts of horses and of those seated upon them, and the fleshy parts of all, of freemen as well as of slaves and of small ones and great.” 19 And I saw the wild beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to wage the war with the one seated on the horse and with his army. 20 And the wild beast was caught, and along with it the false prophet that performed in front of it the signs (Exo 7:8-12) with which he misled those who received the mark of the wild beast and those who render worship to its image. While still alive, they both were hurled into the fiery lake that burns with sulphur. 21 But the rest were killed off with the long sword of the one seated on the horse, which [sword] proceeded out of his mouth. And all the birds were filled from the fleshy parts of them.
Revelation 16:14-16 NWT . . .They are, in fact, expressions inspired by demons and perform signs, (Exo 7:8-12) and they go forth to the kings of the entire inhabited earth, to gather them together to the war of the great day of God the Almighty. (Psa 118:23-24) 15 “Look! I am coming as a thief. Happy is the one that stays awake and keeps his outer garments, that he may not walk naked (Mat 22:11-14) and people look upon his shamefulness.” 16 And they gathered them together to the place that is called in Hebrew Har–Ma·ged´on.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
