The observed problem is that for what we see to be explained gravitationally, the outer pink star in the galaxy model would require it being drawn toward the center with 4 times stronger pull, requiring 64 times its mass than the gray star nearer the center, to keep it from being flung off into space. There is no known or observable explanation. It just is! The invisible (dark) matter theory is an attempt to explain it.
