Isaiah 48:20-22 GNB . . .Go out from Babylon, go free! Shout the news gladly; make it known everywhere: "The LORD  (יהוה) has saved his servant Israel!" (21) When the LORD  (יהוה) led his people through a hot, dry desert, they did not suffer from thirst. He made water come from a rock for them; he split the rock open, and water flowed out. (22) "There is no safety for sinners," says the LORD  (יהוה).
These verses seem nearly too wondrous for a mere mortal to comprehend. יהוה here warns his servant Israel, which today refers to all his faithful people in all the earth and who have ever lived, (Gal 3:19-29) to flee from Babylon the Great; she being used throughout the Bible to represent the worldwide empire of false religion. (Rev 14:6-8, Rev 18:18; Rev 17:1-2) God references the forty years the Jews wandered in the wilderness, and of how He made water come forth out of rock for them. That represents Jesus, he being the stone the builders rejected, (Mat 21:42) to his being killed [the stone split], and then, to the waters from the stone being his teachings of life. (John 4:7-26)
Isaiah 48:20-22 CEV . . .Now leave Babylon! Celebrate as you go. Be happy and shout for everyone to hear, "The LORD  (יהוה) has rescued his servant Israel! (21) He led us through the desert and made water flow from a rock to satisfy our thirst. (22) But the LORD  (יהוה) has promised that none who are evil will live in peace."

Isaiah 48:20-22 ESV . . .Go out from Babylon, flee from Chaldea, declare this with a shout of joy, proclaim it, send it out to the end of the earth; say, "The LORD  (יהוה) has redeemed his servant Jacob!" (21) They did not thirst when he led them through the deserts; he made water flow for them from the rock; he split the rock and the water gushed out. (22) "There is no peace," says the LORD  (יהוה), "for the wicked."

Say: “Jehovah  (יהוה) has repurchased his servant Jacob. 21 And they did not get thirsty when he was making them walk even through devastated places. Water out of the rock he caused to flow forth for them, and he proceeded to split a rock that the water might stream forth.” 22 “There is no peace,” Jehovah  (יהוה) has said, “for the wicked ones.”

Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us.
