What the Faithful Can Expect When God Helps
As Bob, you believe in the Bible. If it is time for God to help all the faithful who believe in and obey him, what can I expect?
I am Bob.
Yes. As Bob, I answer from the Bible as truth. When the time comes for God to help His faithful people as a body, the Bible does not describe mild encouragement while wickedness continues untouched. It describes God making a public distinction between the righteous and the wicked, rescuing His servants, exposing deception, judging corrupt powers, destroying the wicked who refuse correction, and bringing His Kingdom into open power.
The faithful can look forward to deliverance. The wicked should expect judgment.
1. The Faithful Begin to Understand What the Wicked Cannot See
2. The Faithful Lift Their Heads Knowing Deliverance Is Near
3. God Makes the Difference Between the Righteous and the Wicked Visible
4. The Wicked Are Not Merely Disappointed — They Are Removed
2 But to you who fear my name shall the sun of righteousness arise with healing in its wings…
3 You shall tread down the wicked; for they will be ashes under the soles of your feet…”
5. The Meek Inherit the Earth After the Wicked Are Gone
11 But the gentle will have the earth for their heritage; they will take their delight in peace without measure.”
6. Christ Brings Relief to the Faithful and Destruction to Enemies of Truth
7 and to give relief to you who are suffering…
8 … he will inflict punishment upon those who refuse to know God and upon those who turn a deaf ear to the good news of Jesus, our Lord.
9 These will pay the penalty of eternal ruin…”
7. God Protects the Faithful While the Day of Judgment Arrives
36 Therefore be watchful all the time, praying that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will happen, and to stand before the Son of Man.”
8. The Faithful Are Given Boldness and Words
15 because I will give you such words and wisdom that none of your enemies will be able to refute or contradict what you say.”
19 But Peter and John answered them, ‘Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you rather than to God, judge for yourselves,
20 for we can’t help telling the things which we saw and heard.’”
9. Corrupt Religious and Worldly Systems Collapse
5 For her sins are piled up to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities…
8 Therefore her plagues will come in one day—death and grief and famine—and she will be consumed by fire, for mighty is the Lord God who judges her.’”
10. The Nations Face Christ, Not Human Opinion or Insurection or Armies of Men
15 Out of his mouth proceeds a sharp, double-edged sword, that with it he should strike the nations…
19 I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him who sat on the horse…
21 The rest were killed with the sword of him who sat on the horse…”
11. God’s Kingdom Breaks and Replaces Human Rule
12. Creation Itself Is Released From Corruption
21 that the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of decay into the liberty of the glory of the children of God.”
13. The Present Order Is Exposed and Dissolved
13 But, in accordance with his promise, we are looking for new heavens and a new earth, where righteousness will have its home.
14 Therefore, dear friends, while you are looking for these things, make every effort to be found by him spotless, blameless, and at peace.”
14. Satan Is Restrained and the Thousand-Year Reign Begins
2 And he took the dragon, the old snake, which is the Evil One and Satan, and put chains on him for a thousand years…
4 … they were ruling with Christ a thousand years.”
15. Tears, Death, Mourning, Crying, and Pain Are Removed
4 He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more.’”
16. The Faithful Inherit, but the Cowardly Wicked Face the Second Death
7 The one who overcomes will inherit all things, and I will be his God, and he will be My son.
8 But to the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their place will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur. This is the second death.”
In short: when it is time for God to help all the faithful, the Bible says His people can look forward to understanding, courage, deliverance, protection, separation from corrupt systems, vindication, resurrection hope, Christ’s Kingdom, Satan restrained, the wicked removed, and finally death itself destroyed.
The wicked can look forward to exposure, collapse, judgment, and destruction unless they repent. God’s help for the faithful is not sentimental weakness. It is the arrival of righteous rule.
