The last head or 8th king of John's Revelation, who would be king of the earth, but never fully becomes king. (Rev 17:6-11) He is the same as Daniel's "little horn" (Dan 7:7-14) and his/it's appearance, identifies for Christians, the final installment of Christ's kingdom and the little horns looming destruction at the end of ongoing Armageddon! Jesus Christ has presented as one who has the legal right to the earthly throne of King David forever! (Eze 25:21-27; Luke 1:30-33) Christ is now in the process of enforcing his Father's Kingdom rule over the earth; restoring the paradise Adam and Eve threw away for us all! For the 6000 years since, God has used many ways (Heb 1:1-2) to communicate and deal with imperfect mankind. He first used angels to speak with and help individuals who were righteously inclined. He used angels to warn of earth's impending destruction by flood, as He provided deliverance for the righteous. He then used angels at the tower of Babel to scatter the survivors of the flood over the face of the earth, in part to minimize the negative impact of Satan's false religions.
For the 6000 years since Adam and Eve rebelled, God has used many ways (Heb 1:1-2) to communicate and deal with imperfect humans. He often used dreams and visions to communicate with those righteously inclined to listen.

(1 Kings 9:4-5; 2 Sam 7:12-16; Rev 21:1-4) After that Earthly Kingdom of God was temporarily destroyed by Babylon, Jesus Christ has come as King, as a descendant of David. That birthright, along with God's promise to Mary, giving him the legal right as King to reestablish the Throne of David forever. (Luke 1:26-33) Jesus is also the seed of Abraham. The Abrahamic Covenant, based on absolute faith; and the Davidic Covenant; set in whole hearted devotion; thus converge in our King Jesus Christ! God's hand at work...
